Your New Role
Coordinate logistics operations, including scheduling and planning of driver, operator, truck and equipment schedules. Ensuring jobs are run smoothly, safely mobilised and services delivered.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and coordinate the collection and transport of waste materials to and from our facilities, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
- Dispatch and schedule internal staff and contractors to customer sites, optimising travel routes and maximising productivity.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to proactively forecast workforce and site availability for incoming waste materials.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and licenses, including heavy vehicle regulations and controlled waste and dangerous goods regulations.
- Monitor and report various KPIs to site management team.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics coordination, waste management or related field.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of waste management regulators and industry best practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
