Unique opportunity to join our Green life team based in our National Support Centre located in Burnley. This exciting role will be reporting directly to the Loss Prevention Analyst, with the key focus of the role to support the implementation of business strategies and initiatives that provide solutions to improve the Green life offer in our retail stores.
The Green life Analyst role will take a wide lens across the category and operating practices which relate to Green life, specifically on a current project with optimising the integrated watering system.
You will play a key role in developing in-depth analyses, return on investment and other measures of success to monitor performance of the integrated watering system and work with internal stakeholders to optimise performance.
The successful candidate will have an analytical background or risk management experience. Working with variety of data to provide ongoing insights will not be an unfamiliar territory, you will be someone who thrives on regularly researching and exploring new innovative approaches to deliver continuous improvement.
Communication, relationship building and collaboration across the business are critical to success in this role
To Be Successful You Will Have The Following
- Proven project management experience and analytical exposure in a mid to large organisation
- Tertiary qualifications in analytics, finance, risk management or equivalent work experience in these disciplines
- Ability to build strong working relationships and explain complex concepts to team with varied levels of commercial experience and knowledge
- Strong organising and planning skills
- Proven experience with planning training/ workshops to gather requirements and liaise with the Business Unit and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate requirements are gathered.
- Experience with programming skills in SQL or R or Python will be desirable
- Exposure with nursery/ green life sector or a keen interest and knowledge of plants will be of advantage
