Kennedy Watches and Jewellery are currently seeking a Sales Associate to join our Rolex Boutique based at Rolex Star Sydney. As a Luxury Sales & Rolex Timepiece Specialist, you will be a Kennedy & Rolex ambassador who provides exceptional and committed client service in a true luxury boutique environment.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Boutique Manager, the Sales Associate will be responsible for ensuring the Kennedy boutique is a customer service-focused one, integrating strong sales and exceptional customer service and ensuring a consistency of service and communication with sales peers and existing clients. The Sales Associate must also look to build on the existing client base and treating every client who enters the boutique with extraordinary service and work towards building strong relationships with these clients and the Kennedy boutique personnel.
 

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Work closely with the Boutique Manager and Boutique Management to increase sales with new and existing clients.
  • Ensure all customers’ dealings are managed efficiently, are effective and solutions are always sought, to more than satisfy all client queries or concerns.
  • Understand the level of service and attention to detail that is required working with a luxury brand; understand the profiles and the lifestyles of Kennedy clients to assist in delivering an extraordinary level of service.
  • Manage sales transactions and customer interactions with the utmost of etiquette, professionalism, care and precision.
  • Work together with Boutique Management to constantly broaden your product and brand knowledge skills.
  • Support boutique management with the layout for product in the boutique, the way it is merchandised, handled and replaced when serving or setting up each day.
  • Constantly maintain and update the client databases; communicate with and assist clients to promote the Kennedy brand.
  • Support boutique management with operational tasks as required, such as in-boutique cash management.
  • Assist with opening/closing duties, including inventory entry and reconciliation as required.
  • Assist with maintaining stock control through transfers, stock take and stock consolidation.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures without exception and escalate issues immediately.
  • Support general day-to-day operations of the boutique as outlined by Boutique Management and/or as required by company operating and customer service procedures.
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years for a luxury retailer.
  • Retail sales experience with luxury timepieces and jewellery is desirable.
  • Strong track record of proven sales target achievements. This includes accurate POS transactions.
  • Strong digital literacy skills and ability to use retail systems and platforms effectively.
  • Qualifications in business and sales, gemology or jewellery design highly regarded.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills.
  • Impeccable professional presentation. 
  • Exercises good judgment, ability to problem solve, anticipate potential issues and provide solutions.
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to remain calm under pressure, flexible and adaptable.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude; reliable and responsive.
