Our client is a specialist in rotating machinery service provider based in Malaga, Western Australia who are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to join their team. The role of the Machine Shop Supervisor will involve roughly 90% white collar tasks, and 10% machining.
The role:
- Mon-Friday, with opportunity to work Saturdays
- Casual to permanent contract after 3 months
- Working with a small, long serving crew on rotating machinery across the energy and resources sector
- Ordering parts for the workshop
- Quoting as per customer requests
- Leading 1-2 machinists
- 8 hour days
About you:
- Australian Working rights required
- Cert III or Cert IV in Machining
- Experience working on manual machines (lathes and milling machines) is a must
- Experience quoting and ordering parts is highly desirable
- Looking for someone who is happy to be customer facing
- Ideally an ASAP start
