Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing the day to day planning and execution of workshop machining and general fitting activities in a safe and efficient and cost-effective manner as well as:
Plan, Organise and control of machining work;
Supervising, coaching and mentoring personnel, apprentices and sub-contractors;
Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and within budget;
Coordinating work and ensuring completed in accordance within the company's quality system and other relevant specifications;
Measuring and testing equipment required for the work area are identified, calibrated, adjusted and labelled; and
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
What you will bring to the team:
To be successful for the role of Machine Shop Supervisor you require:
Trade Qualification with CNC Machine Experience;
Competency in all aspects of general and precision machining on a full range of manual machine tools;
Competent in both light and heavy machining activities;
Leadership and/or project management experience holding a high regard for quality workmanship;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients; and
Strong focus on safety and efficiency and managing competing demands to meet targets.

Secure permanent full-time position;
Day shift 6.30am - 4.00pm, overtime available
Salary of $110,000 to $120,000
Located in Henderson, Perth WA (no FIFO);
