Summary:
We are looking for a Mailroom expert to take charge of leading the Mailroom Team.

Primary Purpose of Role:
Mailroom Team leader is responsible for ensuring the mailroom operates as per contractual requirements, in relation to personnel, training, time management & attendance and escalating where breaches or gaps are identified to ensure a consistent and efficient level of service is delivered at all times.
This role requires an excellent problem solver, to not only solve complex issues but to foresee any potential issues and create a solution prior to business disruption. High level of attentiveness and a proactive approach is essential to ensure the mailroom is clean and organised in the most effective operational system.
Key responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound mail, packages, and other items efficiently
Coordinate with courier services to ensure timely and effective delivery
Train and develop Mailroom Team in their day-to-day duties
Maintaining accurate & up-to-date training checklists and mail distribution data at all times
Perform Mailroom Adhoc administrative operational support activities
Create and upkeep on mailroom policies and procedures and ensure all team members operate in accordance with them
Monitor inventory of mailing supplies, such as envelopes and stamps and ordering as required
Ensuring the mailroom is always orderly, clean and in a presentable manner – this also extends to personal presentation
Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators / Objectives
Generate daily/weekly and monthly reports for mailroom operations
About you:
Desirable qualifications or experience in customer service/mailroom background
Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Diligence and attention to detail
Able to work under pressure in busy environment and to meet deadlines
Intermediate levels of computer proficiency
Time Management and attention to detail
