The maintenance team ensures the provision of an optimum physical environment in personal, public, internal and external areas of the facility, including but not limited to: maintenance, repairs, equipment purchasing, security and safety, and renovations.
Essential Criteria:
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Take actions to implement a regular preventative maintenance program
Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
Report all jobs requiring specialist skills and / or engage an appropriate trades person
Ensure a safe, home-like environment within and around the facility
Current NSW Driving License
To be able to work both autonomously and co-operatively within a team
Willingness to work according to the organisation’s Values of Respect, Openness, Loving, Friendly and Ethical.
Desired:
Previous experience in General building, equipment and ground maintenance work.
Previous Aged Care experience.
Passion for assisting older people and working in Aged Care.
Remuneration will be in line with relevant experience and skills.
This position is a full-time position based on 38 hours per week.
