Truck Driver/Labourer

Ground Support Systems (Aust) is a well established hire company with branches throughout Australia that service the civil constrution and the mining industries as well as local government bodies across Australia. 

There is an opportunity for a healthy, enthusiastic, hard working person to join our Ormeau depot as Truck Driver/Labourer. This is a full time position, with above award rates as well as all the standard award benifits and pentalty rates that apply to the award. 

The main tasks required in this role will be:

• To perform delivery and collections of our hire equipment
• To Operate a truck-mounted crane for the purpose of loading and unloading the truck on sites, and to assemble and disassemble hire equipment as required. (On the job training provided) 
• Operation of a forklift to assist with duties in the depot as well as to assist with loading and unloading transport vehicles. 
• To assist with the cleaning and general maintanence of our hire equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork, including prestarts, truck run sheets and delivery dockets.

Skills and Experience:

• Current Driver's Licence (HR or higher)
• High Risk ticket for Vehicle Loading Licence (CV) or higher 
• Forklift licence (LF)
• Dogman licence (DG) or higher
• White card (general Site Induction card)
