TRILITY is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Upper South Creek team in Western Sydney NSW.
The role
As a Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient and effective planning and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques on all TRILITY assets within the Riverland region.
Working alongside the Process Controllers, you will provide support to a range of plants assuming total responsibility for plant maintenance. You will provide guidance and implement decisions whilst complying with all legislation, regulations, and company requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure TRILITY systems for Safety, Quality and Environment are used and that all activities undertaken on TRILITY sites comply with these plans
- Ensure assets are maintained to required standards to ensure their reliability and performance
- Be responsible for any unplanned maintenance insuring appropriate response for issue
- Provide input to maintenance budgets both planned and refurbishment/replacement
- Periodically forecast and issue planned maintenance jobs
- Liaise with contractors and be responsible for the development and oversight of contractor supply and service agreements
- Review maintenance tasks and contracts to provide beneficial budget, safety and environmental outcomes
- Maintain, modify and implement existing Maintenance systems ensuring maintenance data is collected and reported
- Provide input to projects in relation to refurbishment and replacement
- Provide basic operations’ assistance at water and wastewater treatment plants as needed
- Any other duties as required
What we are looking for
- Experience in operation and maintenance of water, wastewater or similar production facilities
- Demonstrated management ability
- Strong communication, report writing and financial appraisal skills
- Understanding of best practice maintenance and asset management techniques
- Knowledge of CMMS systems
- The ability to make decisions with minimal direction and guidance
- Be flexible with the ability to adapt to change and rapidly apply new knowledge
- Effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Be able to work independently for long periods
- A current drivers licence
- Knowledge of contemporary water industry issues highly regarded
