ABOUT IMC
Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium-quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent full-time position based at our Dendrobium Coal Processing Plant, Port Kembla in the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres southwest of Sydney.
As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will contribute to the delivery of the maintenance planning and execution within the plant, enabling the operation to perform to its required operating capacity, operating time, operating efficiency and reliability.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Facilitate and contribute to weekly planning and shutdown meetings.
- Ensure execution activities are conducted safely by competent personnel in accordance with relevant standards and operating procedures.
- Conduct regular in field interactions ensuring compliance to site safety requirements and material risk management.
- Provide technical support for operations and associated activities.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Prior experience in a similar role within mining or heavy industry.
- Experience with SAP work management
- Demonstrated ability to contribute, influence and make decisions with multi-functional teams.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and facilitate implementation of solutions.
Qualifications for this position are:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate, Degree, Associate Diploma in a relevant Maintenance Engineering field.
- Valid C Class Drivers Licence
