As a national leader in Food Manufacturing, our business continues to expand. And to stay on top of the game we are looking for the best Maintenance Electrician in Brisbane! We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering Team on Afternoon Shift.
Based at our state of the art factory in Banyo, the role of our Maintenance Electrician is to support the maintenance team, production and the business by providing quality and efficient electrical maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the deployment of new plant and machinery. Two days will never be the same in this role!
In this role, you will:
Maintain, control and diagnose FMCG machinery such as high speed fillers, mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulic robotic machinery and packaging machines.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating settings using PLC programming
Work with Electrical wiring and diagnosing
Perform planned maintenance tasks
Be working afternoon shift (1.06pm-9.00pm)
Overtime available on weekends - most Saturdays
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
A current QLD Electrical qualification
At least 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Electrician working in a 24/7 FCMG environment
Working experience with MEX will be highly regarded
Experience in the areas of planning, organisation and customer focus
A current CPR and low voltage electrical rescue certificate
Confined Space, Working at Heights and EWP certification would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills, initiative and be a strong advocate of team work
