Form of work This Dual Trade role is a great career move. You will be working with a great team of Engineering specialists to Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and parts within a brewery.
Core duties and responsibilities:
Performing repair and maintenance of production equipment ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) housekeeping standards are maintained
Minimise machine changeover time and downtime to maximise machine output
Drive continuous improvement activities on equipment and processes
Ensure all workmanship is completed to the highest possible standard
Ensure site safety policies, procedures and safe work practices are followed at all times
Be able to work on preventive maintenance schedules, attend breakdowns with a sense of urgency, minimising downtime and implementing continual improvement initiatives
Ensure all projects are managed on time and on budget
Prioritise workload to ensure maximum business effectiveness - identify which tasks are most important and will maximise the production line’s output.
Achieve department goals – assist to develop strategies to achieve production goals and to reach KPI targets.
Liaise with equipment and material suppliers to secure quotes for parts
Help create standard operation procedures required to train other team members on how machinery should be set up or operated.
Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records.
Must be familiar with 240V & High Voltage.

Must have qualifications:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Systems Electrician) or equivalent
NSW Qualified Supervisors License or Electrical Contractors License
Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or similar
FMCG or other automated manufacturing site experience
Exposure and/or experience with Instrumentation
Experience with packaging equipment
Experience or understanding of Wastewater processes/systems
Understanding of Boiler and or steam control processes/systems
Understand Pneumatic systems
Have a good understanding of electronic control systems/PLC’s
Good mechanical aptitude.
Be computer literate and experience with CMMS software
Forklift licence
