The Company:
Our client is a growing leader within its industry specialising in producing high quality manufacturing products. Currently our industry giants are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team.
The Position:
Your main focus for this position will be to maintain and repair the manufacturing, plant and factory equipment. You will maintain the highest level of quality and availability and will also include but not limited to:
- Carry out general maintenance duties
- Carry out welding tasks
- Fabrication and on-site repairs.
- Able to work 38-40 hr week + overtime
- Follow safety requirements.

To the successful candidate is the opportunity to become an integral member within the national business. You will be offered a competitive salary of between $89K+ super + overtime. This position is permanent on day shift, Yatala location shift is 6am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.
The Person
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience within the food or chemical manufacturing
- Fixing breakdowns and maintaining machinery
- Experienced with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Welding experience an advantage
- Trade qualified Fitter/Turner or Fitter/Welder Qualification
- Able to problem solve with good coordination skills
