Salary Package $103,350.00 per Anum + OT extra
Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity in the Glendenning area? We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our production equipment.
The purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance of machinery and equipment, provide on-line production support and ensure that operators can utilise machines and equipment in the most efficient manner. This role will also be involved in the design and fabrication of appropriate jigs and fixtures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance on production equipment as directed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all guards and safety devices are secured and in good condition.
- Participate in on-call roster.
- Assist in project and development work as requested.
- Aid in the design and installation of machinery upgrades, retrofits, and system improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and consumable stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop area.
- Complete all work order and time management paperwork as directed.
- Maintain 'special process' equipment and preventive maintenance programs to uphold quality requirements.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Travel: No regular travel anticipated.
- Education: Qualified Mechanical Fitter.
- Certifications: Current forklift license is desirable.
- Knowledge: Experience working with printing machines is highly desirable. Proficiency in machining and welding skills is advantageous.
