We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team on the Night Shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the structural and mechanical elements of our manufacturing infrastructure. This includes:
- Responding promptly to break-fix situations and service requests related to our facilities and site.
- Performing scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance as directed by our CMMS (Mex) system.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ensuring accurate and timely communication to stakeholders, keeping CMMS (Mex) work requests updated.
- Regularly reporting activity, plans, and risks to the Maintenance Supervisor.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, innovative, and organized, with a strong problem-solving mindset. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of the Night Shift team.
Essential Requirements:
- Current trade certificate as a fitter.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and a strong background in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent welding skills (MIG, TIG, and Purge).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working at heights and a current EWP license.
Highly Desirable:
- Electrical Connect/Disconnect qualification.
- Experience in confined spaces (qualification preferred).
- Experience with high-speed filling and packaging equipment.

- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Basic understanding of maintenance principles and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Mex or other CMMS systems.
