Maintenance Fitter

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Fitter will carry out high skilled maintenance and repair works associated with the operation and maintenance of the Bibra Lake Resource Recovery Park.

You will work closely with the Site Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with Veolia's Regulatory Compliance Policy.

• Permanent night shift role based in Bibra Lake
• $48 an hour + 30% night shift allowance + 5 weeks annual leave + overtime opportunities
• On-going training and development
  

• Carrying out high skilled maintenance and repair works
• Completing all scheduled and planned maintenance
• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation
• Investigating incidents/breakdowns and ensuring effective measures are in place to prevent recurrence
• Assisting in the development of plant inspection, safety and work procedures and task specific instructions
  

• Cert III Mechanical Trade or higher OR relevant proven industry experience
• Maintenance of a fixed plant, balers, conveyors, screens, and optical sorting technologies
• High risk licence (LF, CN/CV, EWP), confined space & working at height
• Drivers Licence - Class C
• Reliable, self motivated and able to work unsupervised
