Maintenance Fitter - Temp To Perm

We are pleased to be working with our current client based in Moorebank, NSW and are leading the search for a Maintenance Fitter.
Joining one of Australia's largest manufactures of foam products who service key areas such an Medical, Industrial, Bedding and Homewares, this role is a temp to perm opportunity and for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving facilities, grounds, and buildings
• Plan, develop and implement schedules for mechanical maintenance
• An understanding on pipework, pumps valves.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Cutting, welding and grinding
• Fault finding and troubleshooting

You will also be available for on-call requirements outside of your roster for on site urgencies/issues as they arise.
The following qualifications are required:

• Forklift licence
• Elevated Work Platform Licence
• An Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification , eg. Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical) or Cert IV as a minimum
• Industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Welding experience
• Experience working with equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic fitting, etc.

Due to the physical nature of this role, including but not limited to;- bending, crouching, kneeling and moving between machines, adequate physical fitness is a key requirement of this role. As such, a pre employment Functional Assessment is a pre-requisite of this role.
