We are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our Team at our Carina West Processing Facility located in Wemen, near Mildura.
About the role:
This full time, ongoing role will safely carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery at the Carina West Processing Facility and other parts of the business when required.
The tasks for this role include:
- - Ensuring the continuous and effective functioning of plant machinery, auxiliary equipment, utilities and building facilities.
- - Monitoring the plant to assist in determining the timing of preventative maintenance.
- - Ensuring the safe and proper use of all machinery, plant and vehicles and take corrective action as required
- - Ensure all plant and equipment are run to manufacturer’s specifications and maintained in good order
To be successful you will have:
- - Current driver’s licence.
- - A proven background in maintenance (preferably in a food manufacturing environment/or similar)
- - Engineering fabrication/mechanical trade certificate.
- - Experience working with external engineering contractors..
