As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued operation and efficiency of our production equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on a range of industrial machinery, including but not limited to conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulics.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in a timely manner to minimise production downtime.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimise production processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, promoting a culture of safety awareness within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
