The Role:
Our client is an education centre for the Seafood & Fishing industries, providing high quality maritime, seafood & fishing training in Adelaide.
You will be responsible for the preparation, production and general maintenance of equipment and specialist training spaces including training ships.
Please note: The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Working with Children check
Information:
- Monday to Friday (flexible with 4 or 5 days p/week)
- Hours: 8:30am to 4pm (Flexible)
- Potential for Permanency

Criteria:
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Previous experience within the building & construction and/or maintenance industry is highly desirable
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Physically fit
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Demonstrate honesty, reliability and safe work practices
- Forklift License is highly desirable
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Duties:
- Assembly of equipment.
- Set up & preparation of equipment for training activities
- General maintenance of training ship (vessel)
- Occasionally undertaking the role of a Deck Hand on a training ship (vessel)
- Receiving supplies & inventory control
- Pack up of equipment after training concludes
