About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Leading Hand to join our maintenance team.
The team is responsible for maintaining the Company's assets including winery, distillery and bottling production equipment whilst also managing our environmental obligations.
This role would see you leading from the front while undertaking maintenance, repairs and assisting with developing and reporting on safety, quality, food safety and performance in relation to the work of the department.
The role is hands on, you will provide technical advice, training, support, supervision and leadership to the maintenance team. Reporting to our Maintenance Supervisor you will assist with daily work order management and task allocation, projects and developing standard operating procedures, risk assessments and other documentation as required.
Job Requirements The successful applicant will be goal oriented and possess high levels of energy to drive performance and change. The ability to work within and develop a team, exceptional time management and communication skills are critical for success in this role.
Previous experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role and mechanical / engineering trade qualifications are preferred. Experience across a broad range of food processing equipment would be an advantage.
