About the Role
To effectively lead a maintenance team comprising of scheduler’s, technicians and contractors.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will take ownership of the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Leadership of both outsourced and inhouse technicians, and scheduler.
- Achieve maintenance team forecasted yearly budget
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with the Collins Foods safety management system
- Increase Pro-active works (target is >70%) and reduce costly repair and breakdown costs
- Lead investigations using a modern RCA approach, review repetitive failures and conduct inspections of the plant facilities, train employees in appropriate RCA practice
- Control a contractor management process
- Participate in the equipment capital replacement program
- Establish and maintain effective communication between operations and maintenance teams
- Produce a monthly maintenance report and communicate through to all stakeholders.
- Maintain the workflow process for MEX P1 – P5 work requests.
- Ensure maintenance regulatory compliance is achieved (pressure systems compliance)
- Ensure effective preventative maintenance is achieved - Restaurant equipment, HVAC, Electrical safety
- Participate in and lead project works as required.
About You
As the Maintenance Manager you will bring to the role the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Proven and extensive leadership skills
- Good knowledge of Maintenance process and activities.
- Extensive contractor management experience
- Budget management & cost control
- Labour Planning and Scheduling experience
- Understanding operating context of site assets / process systems
- Conversant with RCA & RCM
- Project management skills
- Lean experience desirable
- Passionate
- Reliable
