Your primary responsibility will be to the main point of contact between the customer and the Vanderlande Business Service Manager regarding maintenance-related issues. Prioritising safety and quality, you will manage a diverse team, ensuring the delivery of a meticulously planned, data driven maintenance and spare parts strategy focused on reliability. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing talent and building the capabilities of your team to deliver service excellence that aligns with global standards.Your ResponsibilitiesOversee all maintenance-related tasks for the entire automated material handling system, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.Foster excellent communication channels with key stakeholders to effectively manage Vanderlande and OEM maintenance activities, as well as third-party SLAs.Manage escalations and site incidents on a 24/7 basis as part of the duty manager roster, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.Drive the development of onsite personnel and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay well-informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and equipment enhancements to ensure the delivery of world-class reliability to customers.Prepare, plan, and execute tasks to meet system lifecycle and end-of-life requirements, ensuring long-term sustainability and performance.About YouHolds a technical qualification with knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.Demonstrates previous experience in both technical (electrical and mechanical) and management/team leader roles.Proven track record as a strong continuous improvement leader, with relevant qualifications being advantageous.Possesses excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels.Familiarity with service contracts24/7 attitude, planning your day is essential (autonomous leader).Capable of long-term strategic thinking, with the ability to build, plan, and execute initiatives aligned with a 5-year vision.Strong influencing skills to drive agreement and achieve business objectives.Comfortable working with third-party service providers as sub-contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of results.What we offerA competitive remuneration package will be offered to someone who is a team player with a positive, energetic attitude and work ethic as well as the ability to think outside the square.
