We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to join the Linley Valley Pork team on a permanent full-time basis, reporting into the Engineering Manager. This role would be best suited to a senior Maintenance supervisor ready to step into a Maintenance manager role over a 12-month initial handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance operations to ensure maximum overall equipment effectiveness.
- Mange and organise Contractors on-site to ensure the optimisation of the maintenance function.
- Identify suitable opportunities for growth and technological improvement, including introduction of workflow automation and process control technologies.
- Contribute to developing operating budgets for the maintenance department.
- Work with Continuous Improvement functions to implement improvement plans for the maintenance department.
- Contribute to developing plans for Capital Expenditure to deliver strategic goals and ensure plant is compliant and operating efficiently.
- Ensure critical spare parts are maintained and available if required.
- Organise and facilitate preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
Your Essential Skills and Experience:
We are looking for an individual who possesses the following:
- Advanced Fixed Plant experience
- Experience using MEX
- Experience in Agriculture and/ or a food processing environment
- Experience in asset management
- Technical and analytical ability with excellent time management
- Active attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Experience with budgeting and maintenance planning
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft products - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be an excellent communicator (oral and written).
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including time management, prioritising tasks etc.
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask are essential.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to influence and drive change.
- Experience in leading effective teams.
- Forklift licence, working at heights training, confined spaces ticket.
