About the role
The Maintenance Manager plays an essential role in overseeing the upkeep, repair and safety standards for Cobdenheath's facilities located at 5 Victoria St in Cobden. This position requires an expert who understands the distinct nuances and requirements of each facility, ensuring the infrastructure remains compliant with sector-specific regulations.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for proactive upkeep, swift responses to maintenance issues, and a systematic approach to ensuring our facilities reflect the highest standards of care and wellness. Your mandate is to foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and integrity, working closely with our diverse teams to ensure the environment remains conducive to the health and wellbeing of Cobdenhealth's patrons.
Core responsibilities include ensuring the structural and operational vitality of the Residential Aged Care facility, Medical Centre and Wellness Centre, making crucial maintenance decisions, and providing consistent assurance of a safe and harmonious environment.
About You
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Manager role should exhibit an in-depth understanding of facility management, particularly within aged care and medical contexts. Essential attributes and experience are:
- 5+ years of experience in facility or maintenance management, preferably within aged care and/or medical sectors.
- Technical proficiency in understanding building blueprints, electrical layouts, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols within aged care and medical environments.
- Dedication to ensuring swift problem resolution, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, adept at both autonomous operations and collaborative projects.
