Maintenance Officer - The Brelsford - Coffs Harbour

Reporting to the Home Manager at Calvary Brelsford located in Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast, we currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our team!Located between beautiful mountains and the sea, Calvary The Brelsford provides care for 101 residents and includes a memory support area. The home is well known in the community for the amazing care provided thanks to our wonderful team who work together to provide high quality care in this home-like environment.
Please note, all tools will be provided.
What you bring:
- Possess 2-3 years previous experience in a relevant trade industry.
- Some prior experience in an aged care environment, with a working understanding of relevant Aged Care Accreditation Standards, compliance requirements, and Quality Improvement processes.
- Good working knowledge of Fire and Emergency protocols, and regulations around essential services.
- Demonstrated experience in managing contractors, including JSA's/SWMS, SLA’s, work orders.
- A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new systems as required.
