We are looking for a casual Maintenance officer to assist with immediate periods of leave relief and the ongoing care of our Albury facilities. Responsibilities: General maintenance and repair work of equipment Minor building and construction work To follow policies and procedures as detailed in the Quality Manuals. Maintaining and Development the grounds and gardens Cleaning Tasks mowing, whipper-snipping and edging of grassed areas Weed and pest eradication
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Oral and written communication skills Basic Computer skills - Word processing and Spreadsheet preparation Ability to work with minimal supervision Qualifications and/or experience in relevant trade or garden maintenance. Understanding of the Aged care or Health industry. Working at Heights Test and Tag license Chemical Users Certificate. Lutheran Aged Care is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees working within a NDIS facility, in a risk assessed role, must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement. All aged care workers must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and have the relevant COVID and Booster vaccinations in line with State legislation. Evidence of these vaccinations will be required prior to commencement. You will be required to conduct daily Rapid Antigen Tests You may be required to wear facemasks.
