Overview
Joining our friendly and welcoming team, you will contribute to the provision of a high quality maintenance service working across both Keith and Bordertown health sites. You will be responsible for undertaking general facility maintenance associated with the interior and exterior of the health service, and your duties may include rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds maintenance. Maintaining a neat and tidy environment for the health service. You will be required to source equipment and parts for general building repairs. Where required, you will provide assistance and guidance to other employees and contractors within the Maintenance Service. Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community.
With experience in building and grounds maintenance, you will be capable of performing work under general direction and bring the ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools. Committed to ensuring the timely completion of tasks and activities, you will be capable of adhering to instructions, established practices and guidelines. You will have a sound understanding of the Occupational Health Safety & Welfare acts relevant to maintenance, and knowledge of safe working conditions and commitment to customer service principles. Your ability to work as a cooperative team member and relate to all levels of staff will hold you in good stead for this job.
