Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium (CS).
About the role:
A rare opportunity exists for a Maintenance Officer to join our Building Maintenance team and provide assistance across all three venues operated by AVM with the major portion of the time spent at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The role is predominately working in the Venue Maintenance Team carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks and working with contractors to facilitate a seamless and proactive approach to maintaining the AVM buildings to a high standard.
About you
- Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- You will have initiative and have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Intermediate PC skills to work with Rapid induct, skytrust, FM expert etc. as required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise and carry out maintenance tasks as requested.
- Assist and monitor sub-contractors with site works, location, and movement of access equipment throughout the building.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Building Manager.
- Maintain all Mechanical & Electrical Plantrooms in a clean and orderly state.
- Attend meetings/briefings to ensure knowledge of tasks.
- Ensure all equipment resources are handled as per safe operating procedures.
- Undertake simple equipment maintenance as directed.
- Assist Contractors with our Rapid induction system/access to site.
