Band 3 $50,828 (pro rata) yearly, plus 11% statutory superannuation
Here is a permanent part-time role available for someone who would be experienced in handling livestock, perform maintenance including operating plant and supervise contractors at the Gippsland Regional Livestock Exchange.
What your day will look like:
- Operating plant and equipment to perform maintenance around the site.
- Moving and scanning of livestock.
- Maintaining site records for maintenance, logbooks and selling pen information.
We are looking for someone with:
- Knowledge of Code of Practice for Saleyards in Victoria and general yards operating procedures.
- Knowledge of the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
- Plant and machinery certificates and maintenance experience.
- Can communicate well.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
