Maintenance Planner

Our people are the foundation of our success, and we offer attractive salaries and benefits, opportunities for career advancement and world-class workspaces designed for employee wellbeing - to ensure our people get their best life!About the roleThis position will initially be based at our Osborne Park offices for familiarisation with the team and systems, before transitioning into a site based 8/6 roster at our new Onslow Iron Project, based at the port. You will be responsible for both short- and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling, whilst also being responsible for the site fixed plant equipment and infrastructure.

• Carrying out maintenance planning and scheduling processes for the site mechanical, electrical, and operational teams.
• Schedule resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned and emergent maintenance works
• Coordinate with the MRL procurement and supply departments for the timely arrival of all inventory, direct order materials and equipment
• Contribute to the review, development and implementation of systems, processes and procedures that identify improvements to equipment performance, reduction in administration and overall sustainability of equipment life cycle
• Produce weekly maintenance management KPI's
• Chair weekly planning and schedule meetings to discuss schedule compliance, maintenance tasks, materials, plant availability impacts and labour requirements

What you'll bring to the team

• Trade certificate (advantageous but not required)
• Minimum 7 + years in Shutdown/maintenance planning
• Proven ability to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues
• Sound knowledge of Maintenance Planning philosophies
• Advanced skills using MS Office
• Prior experience with Pronto
• Experience with production activities in a mineral processing plant
• Proactive approach with outstanding interpersonal skills
