The Opportunity

ElectraNet is seeking a driven Maintenance Planner to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing reliability of our network. In this role, you'll develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan, optimising asset performance throughout their lifecycle. You'll collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating outages to minimise disruptions and maximise efficiency.

As the Maintenance Planner you'll:

  • Develop a 13-month rolling outage plan and update maintenance schedules to minimise disruption and maximise network availability.
  • Partner with Asset Management to understand strategic priorities and integrate them into the maintenance plan.
  • Negotiate and influence maintenance service providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively utilise planned and existing network outages.
  • Generate regular reports to support data-driven decision making.

About You

The successful applicant will be:

  • Able to demonstrate experience in planning, scheduling or project controls.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong planning and scheduling skills.
  • A problem-solver with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • A skilled communicator who can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans (desirable)
  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge of substation and transmission systems (desirable)

At ElectraNet, we recognise that your potential extends beyond our qualifications. We believe that transferable skills, attitude, and value alignment are equally important for success in our company. That's why we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every job criterion. Your lived experience and skills could be the key to unlocking your potential with us.

We're looking for individuals who:

  • Bring unique perspectives and fresh ideas to the table.
  • Are adaptable and eager to learn new things.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
