As a key member of our CRC Engines team, the Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in managing the smooth operation of our workshop activities. Under the guidance of the Area Manager, this position entails precise planning and coordination of service-related tasks. The incumbent will collaborate extensively with the CRC and Workshop Supervisors to thoroughly plan and implement all Engine related activities and custom work to meet client specifications.
The role demands a strategic allocation of resources, including build bays, tools, external supplies, parts and labour, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and align with our commitment to meeting customer deadlines.

Location: South Guildford, WA
Roster: 5/2 10hrs (Permanent, Full-Time)
To be successful the following is required:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate, coupled with several years post qualification experience within a maintenance role inclusive of experience within a similar maintenance planning/scheduling role, with the understanding of safe work practices and the associated planning required
- Intermediate computer literacy skills – MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and Project Management), with demonstrated ability in the compilation of highly detailed task specific Gantt Charts
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills with the ability to understand specific customer requirements and negotiate customer solutions with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
Desirable:
- Previous work order management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Caterpillar products and information systems (e.g. Builder File, Service Information System (SIS), CAT Corporate Web Security, Asset Management Tool (AMT) and Dealer Business System
- Understanding of Warranty and Goodwill claims
