About the Role:
NES Fircroft are seeking a Short-Term Planner to join the Maintenance Planning and Engineering Team in Tom Price.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Utilise the CMMS (SAP) to plan work for Production loaders and the ancillary HME Fleet, aiming to minimize downtime from scheduled lost (SL) events.
- Identify and address potential improvements or inaccuracies in Maintenance System Data.
- Attend and facilitate necessary meetings for the designated plant/site, participating in review and improvement initiatives.
- Review and manage internal and external labour requirements, equipment availability, and material delivery, expediting parts where necessary.
- Develop a draft/initial Shutdown schedule, including critical paths, task interactions, labour requirements, materials, and shared equipment/tools for review.
- Ensure schedule loss events align with planned events, updating key stakeholders and business systems (MSF) on any exceptions, and identifying critical issues such as outstanding approvals, major lead time items, cores, resources, and accommodation.
- Close out raised Contractor requirements, including invoicing and payments, in consultation with the execution team.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A current ‘C’ class driver’s license
- Relevant industry experience in maintenance scheduling
- Proficient with SAP, MS Projects & MS Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
