This is a great opportunity to join a world leader company within the paper manufacturing industry. The role will have high levels of autonomy and will spend a lot of time on compliance and external contractor engagement as the company have recently switched primary operating models from inhouse, to external maintenance.
The Maintenance Planner Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities in the facility. This role ensures that maintenance work is carried out efficiently and in a cost-effective manner, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.
The objective of the role is to maximise plant & equipment Reliability, Condition, and Availability in the most cost-effective way. Working with the key business leaders this role must identify synergies and best practice systems and procedures to ensure that the business executes strategies necessary to meet business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage technical support for the Extruder & Inline Product Gauging Control system, including the SCADA control system and all associated databases.
Manage the planning, scheduling and compliance of preventative Maintenance system MEX to deliver a reliable plant performance.
Develop and manage specific site projects, CAPEX, and any existing plant & equipment, including tooling modifications, improvements and upgrades. This includes leading all Change Management documentation and associated Risk Assessments
Manage the overall planning and scheduling activities (including resources) of Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Systems which encompasses, Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Process Improvements and People.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
