We’re looking for a Planner/Scheduler to join our Melbourne team.

Responsible for the short, medium and long term maintenance planning and scheduling for a number of power generation sites. Plans and schedules will be derived from preventative maintenance plans, condition monitoring, long term asset management plans and statutory compliance registers. The role will report to the Operations Manager and be based out of Southbank, Melbourne.

What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
- Develop workorders and prioritise in accordance with operational requirements.
- Procurement of materials and services.
- Provide weekly schedules and a 5 week look ahead.
- Coordinate with site personnel to ensure work orders are closed out.
- Ensure preventative maintenance plans are continuously improved within the CMMS.
- Manage interfaces with site maintenance team, projects team and subcontractors.
- Reporting of maintenance performance.
- Fundamental understanding of the maintenance planning process.
- Experience with Microsoft project or similar software.
- Technical background with proven field experience on fixed or mobile plant (Trade or engineering based).
- Demonstrated 3+ years of planning experience in an industrial environment.
- Fundamental understanding of maintenance performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, reporting and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as part of a multi-functional team.
