Responsibilities
- Implementing maintenance schedules for all plant equipment both preventative and maintenance shutdowns.
- Establishment of inventory and stock control systems to support maintenance programs.
- The running of procurement program to oversight expenditure to budget and actual purchases.
- The running of in-house software program (Hirepos) to track all maintenance records and scheduling.
- The writing of maintenance/service check lists.
- Oversight of all compliance Acceptance standard AS1418.10 Inspection Standard AS3978.
- Maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace by compiling fully with standards and policies and all relevant legislation requirements.
- Ensuring accurate monitoring of project costs, work, and schedule.
- Reducing equipment down time by introducing improvement to work processes through constant review and assessment .
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant qualification or work experience in lieu
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current drivers licence
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Clear written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to lift and move equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
