Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Position Description

As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will play a critical role in preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance planning activities to maximise equipment availability and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhance and optimise maintenance plans and schedules
• Oversee the implementation of maintenance strategies
• Create and maintain 1, 4 and 12 week rolling schedules
• Collaborate closely with internal and external customers to strategise planning activities for short, mid, and long-term periods
• Play an integral role in budgeting and projecting costs for planned work
• Follow work management protocols diligently
• Ensure adherence to applicable statutory, legislative, and site policies and procedures

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Trade background preferred
• 3+ years of field maintenance planning and scheduling experience in heavy industry
• Strong working knowledge of SAP maintenance planning and scheduling principles and procedures
• Ability to scope jobs incorporating active site inspections
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient computer literacy skills, particularly Excel, and a sound understating of maintenance management systems
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively
