Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 400 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision, targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity
Due to an internal movement within the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team in a full-time permanent capacity. The position reports to the Team Leader Planning and is based at our Jandakot Facility.
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance requirements are planned in accordance with the Work Management Procedure, to allow works to be carried out effectively with no delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issues work orders with appropriate work instructions, forms, and check sheets
- Prepares accurate forecasts within the Planning cycle
- Identifies resource requirements for maintenance periods
- Develops schedules in consultation with relevant Stakeholders to manage Simops
- Attends site to audit correct planning and gain feedback from the field to provide continuous improvement
- Assists with the preparation of annual forecasts and maintains relevant schedules
About You
- Planning/Scheduling experience or gas transmission maintenance operations experience will be highly regarded
- Trade qualification desirable
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems Maximo, SAP and MS Project
- Ability to prioritise work and respond immediately to changing circumstances and demands
- General understanding of relevant Regulations, Codes, Licenses, Acts and operating guidelines
- Sound inter-personal communication skills
