About the Client:

About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Maintenance Engineer to join our esteemed client's team, based in Perth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop executable maintenance schedule with identified and scheduled resources
- Schedule regular and routine maintenance up to 12 weeks out
- Minimize downtime of scheduled lost events
- Coordinate with supply and site departments for timely component supply
- Identify potential improvements in Maintenance System Data accuracy
- Liaise with Site Maintenance Personnel, Site Management, Execution, and Planners
- Ensure maintenance schedules align with operational requirements and availability targets
- Stay informed about any risks, actions, or trends affecting plant maintenance
- Share schedules and resolve component shortages with the Supply Team
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, especially regarding workplace health and safety
- Comply with standards, procedures, and instructions for workplace health and safety
- Develop draft maintenance schedule for review
- Coordinate external contractors and suppliers
- Produce finalized maintenance schedule and work packs
- Identify critical issues and reschedule uncompleted tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance planning or scheduling roles
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadline
- Valid Driver’s Licence
