The purpose of this role is to support the Procurement & Maintenance functions with day-to-day planning activities along with the following:
- Managing and maintaining supplier relationships
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure all purchasing requirements are correct, goods inwards receipting and inventory of spare parts are accurately tracked.
- Equipment hire management. Eg: Tracking the equipment hire period, communicating to stakeholders for the hiring and processing them for payment.
- Inventory Management in conjunctions with Stock Controller.
- Collating data and reporting on specific KPI’s relating to the maintenance efficiency / effectiveness
- Coordinate service for Workshop Equipment, vehicles and mobile plant.
- Preparation and receipting of Delivery Dockets / Invoices in line with Account department protocols.
To be successful you will need the following:
- Minimum 5 year experience within a similar role
- Competent user of purchasing systems and good understanding on purchase to pay process.
- Proficient user of Computer programs eg. MS Office, Excel, Word
