About the Role
The Maintenance Specialist role will be responsible for the safe execution of preventative, corrective and campaign maintenance tasks on plant and field equipment. The role will be accountable for delivering the annual C&FA program and report through to the onshore maintenance team. The role will be responsible for coordinating different trade skillsets to deliver minor brownfield projects and upgrades.
Based on site at Moomba, this role operates on a 2:2 FIFO roster, reporting to the Team Leader CMT Field and Shutdown.
Key accountabilities include:
- Coordinate campaign and/or service supplier labour on multiple work fronts as required
- Proactively participate in the embedded safety procedures and the improvements of the safety culture
- Inspect, test, adjust and repair equipment to satisfy all appropriate governing standards and procedures, via PM and CM work orders. Conduct “LSR Verification” audits within the team on maintenance activities
- Assume the role of Santos Point of Contact on Events, Campaigns or Total Plant Outages when required
- Drive schedule compliance within the Campaign Maintenance Team
- Ensure daily scheduled work is executed safely and on time
- Actively participate in continuous improvement of the maintenance systems and procedures – Master Data Change Requests, Bill of Materials, Parts issues, Technical Instruction reviews and updates to ensure information is current and correct
About You
We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Specialist with a strong work ethic and ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-disciplined team, along with:
- 5+ years’ experience within the oil & gas industry
- Working knowledge of pumps, turbines, compressors, dehydration, well lease skids, linear infrastructure, and their application.
- Knowledge of quantifying and assessing risk and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Prior experience in leading hand capacity roles including coordinating personnel and enforcing H&S requirements.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment at Santos
- Trade Certificate qualification is preferrable
