The Opportunity

This role requires a motivated broad-based general maintenance professional to undertake maintenance and repairs essential to the operation of the Coles Distribution Centre, located in Edinburgh Parks, SA.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the delivery of general repairs and maintenance services across the site
• Respond to reactive general maintenance work and rectify faults & breakdowns in a timely manner
• Undertake a broad range of maintenance works, including but not limited to installation and repairs across mechanical, plumbing, welding, sheet metal and carpentry
• Maintain dock equipment, roller doors, boom gates and other required plumbing tasks
• Be an affective communicator and develop strong partnerships

To be considered for this role you will:

• Proven mechanical and metal industry experience within a DC environment - highly regarded
• Restricted electrical licence (Disconnect/Reconnect) - highly regarded
• Previous experience in pallet racking installation and repairs – highly regarded
• Be mechanically minded, have an eye for details and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with own transport. Willing to travel interstate as required.
