Maintenance Stores and Materials to support essential water services? SA Water is seeking a motivated
Maintenance Stores and Materials Officer to join our Sustainable Infrastructure team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering trusted water services for a sustainable and healthy South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate stock levels, perform stocktaking, and manage inventory in stores. You will be responsible for ensuring all demands on the stores are promptly and effectively met while maintaining the accuracy of orders, invoices, requisitions, and inventories.
- Provide excellent customer service by managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, and assisting customers with procurement and store processes.
- Collaborate with your team members, implement directions from your leader, and actively contribute to achieving team goals.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following WHS procedures, ensuring a safe working environment, and maintaining correct materials handling processes.
- Conduct procurement activities in line with SA Water's procedures, administer purchasing and salvage activities efficiently.
- Expectation for travel across sites and workshops
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:- Current high-risk forklift license
- Proficient computer skills
- Understanding of procurement and inventory management procedures or demonstrated ability to learn
- Experience in inventory, store operations or retail.
- Technical or administrative qualifications

In addition, your responsibilities will include some Special Conditions:
- Flexible working hours, including after-hours work as required
- Some intra and interstate travel may be necessary
- Mandatory initial and subsequent clearance checks, including criminal police check, traffic check, Working with Children, and/or Working with Vulnerable People
- Mandatory initial and subsequent medical clearances
- Must hold a current driver's license at all times
