The Opportunity:
Minda’s Infrastructure and Facilities team has a rare opportunity for a trade qualified and experienced Maintenance Officer to provide maintenance and repair services across Minda facilities and properties on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general maintenance services across Minda facilities and properties, including reactive and planned.
- Identify and prioritise maintenance requests according to risk, resources, and time constraints.
- Make safe and/ or repair and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Provide updates on maintenance activities including interruptions or impacts of planned works on clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of annual maintenance schedules and asset condition reports.
- Report on activities and ensure electronic and other forms of documentation are completed.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in property maintenance in residential, commercial, or similar settings.
- Trade qualification.
- Proven Ability to identify, assess and action maintenance issues.
- Experience in the safe handling of building trade tools and equipment.
- Highly organised to independently prioritise reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to communicate well with people at all levels.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the disability or care sectors would be advantageous.
Other:
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
- Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Flexible to work at varying locations to meet maintenance requirements.
