Our ASX listed client requires an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee Fixed Plant Maintenance Services at their Pilbara based mine site.
This position requires a hardworking, proactive and committed team player who is responsible for overseeing the activities of the maintenance team to achieve the maximum plant and equipment utilisation within budget parameters and time frames.
Position requisites include but not limited to;
- Trade Recognised Australia - Trade qualification Mechanical or Electrical.
- Experience with maintenance activities on a mineral processing plant or similar with a good knowledge of crushing and screening.
- Previous people management experience at a Supervisor level or higher.
- Ability to plan and lead team activities to make sure they are completed safely, efficiently, on budget and within expected time frames.
- Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results.
- Able to pass all necessary site medical and drug and alcohol testing as required.
Position responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensuring company and/or site specific safety policies and procedures are applied across all work undertaken.
- Supervising of mechanical fitters working within the area of responsibility and allocating day-to-day work priorities.
- Providing direct supervision of sub-contractors working within the area of responsibility.
- Ensuring all maintenance targets are achieved and the plant is maintained in a safe condition.
- Developing and strengthening working relationships with counterparts from other departments to ensure the prioritisation of maintenance activities are balanced across site.
