Accountable to the Manger: Engineering & Maintenance.This role is based at the Sunrise Dam on an 8/4,4/5 FIFO roster (or similar), we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, delivering compliance with SHE&C plans, management systems and processes.
- Support and execute the implementation of the asset management strategy and work management processes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and development of the mechanical team and maintenance personnel.
- Manage mechanical requirements for the installation, maintenance, commissioning, operation, testing and decommission of the machines and equipment on site. This incorporates the process plant, underground and infrastructure assets.
- Develop, implement, review, and modify standards for Mechanical Maintenance work
- Identification and implementation of Full Asset Potential Improvement projects.
- Lead and support root cause investigations of events and management of remedial actions to prevent reoccurrences with a high focus on reliability.
- Budget preparation and delivery for Plant Mechanical Maintenance.
- A strong commitment towards leading a safe work culture.
- Values fully aligned with AngloGold Ashanti's values and its commitment to safety and the environment.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance work management principles and KPI management.
- Demonstrate experience with working in leadership role managing a multi discipline team.
- High level of experience in mid to large size processing plants incorporating crushing, milling, CIL, flotation, and ultra-fine grind circuits is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of underground Fixed asset maintenance including dewatering, ventilation, and fire system is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of applicable WHS legislation and codes of practice.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold a trade qualification in either Mechanical, Fabrication, or Electrical or, Engineering Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural.
- A high level of computer literacy and experience with CMMS systems preferably SAP.
- Strong decision making and negotiating skills.
- Professional work ethic and behaviour.
- Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement practises.
- Experience in budgeting and cost control.
- The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
- Have existing and ongoing valid Australian working rights (Mandatory).
