Due to extended growth, we are currently seeking a hard-working building Maintenance Supervisor to join our talented and highly successful construction team. Reporting directly to the Building Manager, this role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the Maintenance process of all dwellings and projects.

About the Role: 

• Collaborating with the administration team in coordinating subcontractors and service technicians
• Conducting site inspections to detect issues and compile work schedules
• Ensuring 6-month maintenance items are closed out in a timely manner with superb quality and client satisfaction
• Building strong working relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients 
• Take ownership of jobs.
• Form professional relationships will clients, complete fortnightly updates, and provide on-site meeting opportunities.
• Monitor quality of post- construction & ensure items are actioned accordingly.
• Schedule work and coordinate trades.
• Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
• Attend & contribute to weekly team meetings.
• Ensure all documentation is signed off at the completion of the job.
• Ensure all company OH&S policies are always followed.
• Offer support to other team members in solving problems and making decisions.
• Other tasks as directed.

You will require the following skills/ experiences:

• Min 5 years of experience in local residential construction building/construction industry, legislation, and codes
• Strong knowledge of building Standards & Tolerances, BSA's, OHS regulations, and QA systems
• Trade qualification such as carpentry - Advantage but not required.
• Must have construction White card.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s license.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
