Exciting opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our high-performing team on a permanent basis.
In this dynamic role, you'll oversee day-to-day operations at our Peppertree quarry, reporting to and supporting the Maintenance Manager. Your responsibilities will span crucial aspects of the Quarry, including safety, environment, quality control, and performance. The role focuses on optimizing plant and equipment performance, ensuring safety compliance, and upholding Boral's OH&S, Environmental, and Quality Standards. Join us in driving excellence!
Your day will involve:
- Effective management of daily operations, delivering on agreed priorities of world class manufacturing performance in line with budgeting and forecasts
- Efficient management of human resources, contractors, raw material procurement and stock control
- Ensuring all facilities are in line with current licencing, consents and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders such as Boral Logistics and Sales & Marketing
- Contributing to the strategic planning and execution of short-term and long-term Capital Works and maintenance
- A proven track record in the management and supervision of staff with a strong focus on skills development, safety and productivity
- Demonstrated experience within the quarry or mining industry
- Ability to maintain and improve site culture through open communication and collaboration
- Strong initiative to identify, manage, and solve issues and risks
- Experience developing and managing budgets including controlling expenditure and costs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
