About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for undertaking City maintenance works in designated areas of the City of Coffs Harbour Local Government Area. This position will involve the planning, control, and undertaking of roadside maintenance tasks, road pavement repairs & drainage system maintenance.
The Maintenance Supervisor will support and communicate effectively with the maintenance crew to ensure a high level of performance and quality achieved for the delegated tasks.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in planning/drawing interpretation and conformance, cost estimation and tracking and be comfortable and efficient in documentation/record maintenance and ensuring works are undertaken according to standards and specifications.
About you?
Do you have Qualifications/Licenses/Experience in;
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision).
- Strong experience in road drainage and maintenance.
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's License.
- NSW Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Strong communication skills - Sound literacy, numeracy, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
What's on offer?
- Starting Salary $64,515.22 per annum + Superannuation
- Permanent Full-time 38 hours per week
- Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements (RDO's).
- Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years.
